Welcome to PCIC 2009 Anaheim! The following activities are available to allow you to get the greatest benefit from attending the PCIC Technical Conference:

YEDS Social for First Time Attendees
Sunday, September 13th YEDS Social - The YEDS Social is an opportunity for first time and younger attendees to get together with their peers and members of the Young Engineers Development Subcommittee to help in answering any questions they might have with respect to PCIC. It is an informal get-together from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the Pacific B Room. Thermon has graciously provided YEDS with a designated space during their own welcome social.

PCIC Orientation Breakfast
First time attendees and others interested in learning more about the PCIC are encouraged to join the YEDS for breakfast on Monday, September 14th from 7:00 am to 8:00 am in the Avila Room. This orientation will focus on the history of PCIC, how PCIC functions, how to get involved with PCIC, and enlighten their conference awareness.

YEDS Luncheon
First-time and the younger attendees are encouraged to join the YEDS for a free luncheon on Tuesday, September 15th from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm in the Huntington Room. This luncheon will focus on soliciting input from participants on how PCIC can encourage first-time attendee participation, improve professional development through PCIC, and discuss new ideas for future PCIC conferences. This luncheon will feature a number of draws of promotional gifts for those present Please check the “Attend Young Engineers Tuesday Luncheon” box on the registration form if you plan to attend.
