The PCIC Technical Conference registration and hotel rooming blocks will be open and available beginning May 16th, 2008.  Internet links are provided for both hotels as well as 2008 conference registration.  Financial incentives are available for registration prior to July 1st, 2008.  Preferred rates at the conference hotels will be available until August 21st, 2008, or when the room blocks are consumed, whichever occurs first.

The process to be followed is outlined below:

• On the 2008 PCIC Technical Conference website.
• Utilizing the menu bar on left hand side of the page, click on the active hotel link.  This will take you to active links for each hotel.  Click on the hotel of your choice and begin the reservation process for securing your hotel room.  These links will be specific to our conference.  If you prefer to make hotel reservations by phone, please reference “IEEE PCIC 2008” when making reservations.  This will entitle you to the favorable room rates we have been able to establish with these four star hotels.
• Internet links provided will take you to each hotel’s respective reservation website.  A deposit of one night’s lodging will be required.  If the hotel reservation is cancelled seven (7) days prior to the date of the first night’s hotel reservation, the down payment is fully refundable.  If someone wishes to make a reservation for another party this is possible, up to a maximum of nine (9) additional guests.  However, please note that a full name and deposit will be required for each additional guest.  Same rules for cancellation will apply for the “additional” guest reservations.

  NOTE: The PCIC room blocks at the two conference hotels, the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza and the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati have been filled. We have made arrangements for an additional block of rooms with the Millennium Hotel Cincinnati which is located directly across the street from the Hyatt. The additional conference registration fee charged if you are not staying at either the Hilton or Hyatt will be waived.

• Once your hotel reservation is made you will receive a confirmation number which is specific to your reservation.  The confirmation number will be used when you register for the conference, and will entitle you to the most favorable conference registration fee based on the date you register.  (Note: Pre July 1, 2008 = early bird conference registration rate.)
• The following credit cards may be used for payment:  MasterCard, VISA or American Express.   The only acceptable form of payment for securing room reservations, and conference registration, on line, will be credit cards.  Check or money orders for “at conference” payments should be made out to:  IEEE PCIC Conference 2008.
